You will start your day at 9:00 when you join the mindblowing whale watching tour on Andrea. The whale watching tour on Andrea has an educational and interactive focus where we collect samples from the ocean and have a look at them through a microscope we have on board.

The most common species we see on the bay are Minke whales, Humpback whales, White-beaked dolphins and Harbour porpoises and of course the thriving birdlife in the bay. After a great morning out at the sea looking at whales you will arrive back at around 12:15.

A great idea is to grab a burger or a sandwich at the harbour before one of our SuperJeeps will pick you up and take you on a tour around the Reykjanes the south peninsula of Iceland. On this tour you will discover landscapes similar to the surface of the moon. You will see a profusion of lava fields, geothermal activity, lava caves and mountain cliffs.

We will head off out of Reykjavik driving through the Viking Village of Hafnarfjordur where you will see example of how Icelanders make their own dried fish. Then we challenge the 4x4 SuperJeeps up mountain near to the sightly lake Kleifarvatn. We take you to the hot spirng area of Seltun to feel the geothermal activity in the ground.

You will view the sea bird life at Krysuvikurbjarg and enjoy the spectacular sea views, finally we will follow the coast line and drive through the fishing village of Grindavik where we take you on the Hópneshringur Circle.

Next we head of to Reykjanes to enjoy some amazing views across the sea where you will see the puffin island of Eldey. We visit the Gunnuhverir hot springs before we head back home through 4x4 track around the Eldvorp craters which erupted many years back.
